WHAT IS AUTOTREN?
Autotrain is a technology system Rapid Transit Group (“GRT“) for a fast and sustainable mobility in saturated corridors and medium-sized cities.
It consists of a fleet of ultra-light, electric trains and independent (no human driver), formed for 1 to 4 wagons, for up to 24 passengers. Its tracks are exclusive lanes, elevated or underground, whose width is half the width of bus lanes or conventional trains. Passenger stations are always located in parallel lanes.
Vehicles circulating in the main lanes with separations 4 seconds, stopping only at those stations where people go up or down passage, operating similarly to a smart elevator where all routes are programmed to express and demand manner.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Users enjoy the simultaneous combination of guaranteed seat (even in rush hour), with express travel at an average speed twice the car at rush hour.
All this with public transport fare!
Governments are widely recognized for their voters by responding to the need to improve urban mobility making rational use of public money, improving the environment, and promoting local industry.
Carriers remain in business and expand to attract additional users to captive users thanks to that new users who are in a secured seat, greater security and the faster the car train, motivation to move in public transport .
Airport operators, recreational parks, resorts, or large real estate developments found in the Autotrain a way to increase their income at par to raise the level of service users, with less to technology APMs or monorails investment.
Autotrén is implemented within the framework of the reform of concessioned transport, since the model of the “penny war” in corridors where many individual dealers passage dispute towards a business model with quality standards and level of high service, and comprehensive projects that return the priority of the street means non-motorized transport.
MAN–TRUCK AND STREET DOMINATED BY MEANS MOTOR TRANSPORT
Autotrén potentiates the reform of public transport concession from the model man-route truck-company in those corridors where the BRT and subway are not viable, and replacing polluting combustion vehicles with electric vehicles.
MODEL ROUTE-COMPANY AND COMPLETE STREET
In addition to providing fast and quality public transport, thanks to its elevated or underground infrastructure, the Autotrain catalyzes transformations of complete streets, giving priority to pedestrians and cyclists at surface level.
